Študentka ALUO prejela selektorsko nagrado festivala Star Film Fest 2025

Hannah Koselj Marušič, naša magistrska študentka smeri Video, animacija in novi mediji, je za svoj kratki igrani film “Podgane z rožastimi klobuki / Rats with Flowery Hats” na 12. mednarodnem filmskem festivalu Star Film Fest v Sisku na Hrvaškem prejela nagrado selektoric Specijalna Zvijezdica / Special Star Award. 

Film Podgane z rožastimi klobuki (2024) je nastal v produkciji UL ALUO in koprodukciji Javnega sklada RS za kulturne dejavnosti (JSKD), pod mentorstvom prof. Saša Sedlačka in izr. prof. mag. Roberta Černelča (UL ALUO), Hanne Szentpeteri (JSKD) ter Mihe Možine. Selektorice Martina Mladenović, Anja Kavić in Iva Rosandić so v obrazložitvi nagrade povedale:

“Through a technically challenging, yet at the same time exceptionally thoughtful and carefully constructed approach, the author builds tension and an atmosphere that draws us into the inner world of the protagonist. With skillful play on genre, the film further deepens the experience and builds additional suspense. At a time when the fast pace of life often leaves little room for caring for oneself and others, this film reminds us of the importance of mental health, while promoting acceptance and understanding of differences as the foundation of human connection and compassion.”

Med 32 filmov v tekmovalnem programu letošnjega festivala, ki se je odvil med 21. in 23. avgustom 2025, sta se izmed 1281 prijav s celega sveta uvrstila kar dva Hannahina filma, poleg nagrajenega še kratki dokumentarni film Razcepljene konice (2024), ki je nastal v produkciji UL ALUO in koprodukciji DZMP Luksuz produkcija).
